House of Mark has a dining area which is ideal for sharing meals, celebrations or meetings. Whilst enjoying your meals in our Dining Room (in front of the log fire when it gets chilly) the view will afford you glimpses of the varied wildlife
Nature and Wildlife
House of Mark overlooks the Water of Mark and, adjoining with the Water of Lee, forms the renowned salmon and sea trout river called the North Esk
Glenesk has a rich natural history. Many animal species are to be seen. You can stumble upon many different kinds of animals such as hares. Mountain hares live in Scotland and the North. They are grey-brown with a blue tinge in the summer and turn white during the winter – only their ear tips stay black
